In a world gone digital, having a strong social media presence for your business is simply essential. From Facebook and Twitter to Snapchat and Instagram,

Learners on this course will be able to work as Digital/Marketing/Social Media/Content Executives, Marketing Assistants, Marketing Administrators and other similar roles encompassing the principles of social media and digital marketing. It is also an excellent choice for small business owners and or staff who work in roles such as administration and want to take on digital marketing responsibilities in order to increase sales and cut the costs of outsourcing these services.
Individuals will be trained in many aspects of social media and digital marketing, enabling them to create content for use online, manage online platforms and report on the success and results of these activities. By the end of the course individuals will be trained to a nationally recognised Level 3 standard.
The course is made up of six mandatory units:
• Principles of Social Media in Business
• Principles of Keywords and Optimisation
• Social Networking Management for a Business
• Management Systems and Website Creation
• Principles of Mobile Social Media for Business
• Principles of Social Media Advertising and Promotion
The course duration is 12 months.
Tutorials are held once a month at our training centre from 9am-4pm and individuals will need to attend the full session. Training is delivered to the highest standards by Lucky 6 Marketing, an established local marketing agency.
Because this is a work-based qualification, there will be a mixture of knowledge based tasks such as written or verbal questions and case-studies, and practical tasks, where individuals will be observed in practice.

Individuals will receive training in English and Maths where necessary to enable them to achieve a level 2 Functional Skills qualification.
To be eligible for full funding, learners must not already have a degree or equivalent level qualification and must work a minimum of 16 hours per week. This course is funded as an apprenticeship. It is open to individuals of any age. If you do not meet the above criteria, you may be eligible for a 24+ Adult Learning Loan that would cover all course fees.
